Recommendations for hair salons?

I'm been contemplating on cutting my hair, its been the same since my freshmen year of highschool. I never really do anything dramatic to my hair but i think its time for a change. The problem is...Ive had bad experiences with hair salons, so if anyone can please recommend me a great hair salon or stylist:)

For hair salons? I go to a place called saturday's.
usually gay people are really good at cutting hair and since they usually have good style sense you should try to find a gay guy
