What hair salon in Anchorage Alaska is good at bleaching hair without frying it?

I've been looking to bleach my hair for a while and I'm new to Anchorage, so not getting much help. =] I've had my hair bleached before but it was fried, and I've been paranoid ever since. I don't want to use a home kit incase it goes too brassy, and my hair is naturally a dull medium brunette color. I need to find a place ASAP I'm dying to get my hair done finally. Anyone have any good reviews for Anchorage? Thanks. What hair salon in Anchorage Alaska is good at bleaching hair without frying it?
ill tell ya what - i dont live in alaska but im actually a hair stylist. i have a naturally dark brown hair color, and i too wanted to be blonde without frying my hair. an at home kit is not the way to go with a process like this because if something goes wrong, your gonna have to end up at the salon paying more for a color correction. what i did was start out with heavy highlights to break everything up and give it contrast and something different. once you start needing touch ups - you can gradually go blonder each time till you are pretty much over all blonde and then take the last step where you are actually doing an on the scalp application of bleach. i have thick hair that i color often and ill tell ya what - use dumb blonde conditioner by bed head and you will be able to feel the difference in your hair and it wont feel like you have fried it. hope this helps
