I wanna see if I like the way they would do my hair for prom ahead of time so I know how good or bad it would look. Is it free or is there some kind of charge...and what is the price range of that charge.Are hair consulations at hair salons free?
The price of consultations really depends on the stylist. My stylist is also a salon owner and she charges $25 for a consultation up to one hour, and then if you come back for her services, she applies that as a credit. Others might charge more or less or not at all.
It sounds like though that you don't want a consultation so much as getting your hair done to see if you'll like it.. You'll have to pay for that.Are hair consulations at hair salons free?
Where I go, they usually charge me about $15 per half hour. Just call ahead and ask if they charge and to make an appointment. Remember, if you like the person to get their availability and name!
Remember: for a consultation you don't have to tip but for a hair do you do!
you have to pay as if you were going to get it right now(you have to pay the price of the hairstyle so they can do it for you)
many hair consultations are free. just ask the salon if the offer free consultations.
