Are there any hair salons that will do dreads in cobourg ontario?

hey i'm sorry, i dont live in ontario


but... you dont really need a salon to make dreads and honestly you're probablly better off without one.


all you need is 6-12 hours and a friend to help.


get a fine toothed metal flea comb and backcomb them yoourself.


if you need instructions you should visit livejournal.com and go to a community called get_up_dread_up (sorry i dont know how to do links) there you can click on a link called the ';memories'; which is a collection of entries and a vast sources of information all about dreadlocks including detailed instructions on how to make them according to your ethnicity/hairtype.


if you really must have them done by a salon, there are many people that print out instructions and give them to any old hairdresser and get them to do it for them. check it out, if you dont have any friends willing to do them for you, thats always an option, or you could do them yourself... but reaching the back of your head can be a little difficult.

and i don't think there is any place that would do dreadlocks





i used to get my hair cut at nirvana in port hope,


and they do a good job but i don't think they would do dreadlocks, they wouldn't even let me die my hair black!

I'm not sure if they do Dreads or not,


but there's a cool hair place in Port Hope named Nirvana


(They spell it- Nir.Van.A.)


And I'm pretty sure they do about anything!
