Hair salons less expensive than the mall?

My wife goes to this place in the mall to get her hair cut and colored. She ends up spending about $150. I understand that she doesn't want to go to Great Clips or Fantastic Sams. So is there anywhere she can go that will still do a good job but not break the bank?Hair salons less expensive than the mall?
Omgsh, $150????? WOW! That's crazy. Of course the mall isn't ALWAYS more expensive, but it tends to be. There surely has to be another place she can go to in your city that she will spend less than $70 bux (depending on the length of her hair - longer: more expensive).

I think salons in general, mall or independent, are expensive. But the chains like the ones you mention that are more family places, probably are less expensive because of the audience they're catering to. Suggest that she try one of those for a routine trim, instead of a full blown new haircut, so she can get a feel for it.
Yes, it is very expensive in the mall compare in to the outlet outside which is familiar salon and in good services.
