What is it with mirrors in hair salons?

Whenever I go to a hair salon, I always want to scream when I look in the mirror and see my reflection. You can see any imperfections on your face, and generally you look absolutely gross!





Anyone else have the same experience?What is it with mirrors in hair salons?
it's the lighting they have... they have make up mirrors with the same type of lighting... it's so when you're doing make up you CAN see those imperfections and fix them with make upWhat is it with mirrors in hair salons?
its so u can see what they are doing to your hair just think if they had no mirrors and they mess up your hair..i know i don't care about the mirrors also but i like to see what they are doing to my hair.....just in case they cut to much and i end up with a bald spot.....lol
everyone sees their imperfections, not the things that are actually good.

i always feel happy when i see my reflection.

probably everyone has got different reflections when they stare into mirrors...
well the salons need mirrors so you can see your hair and yourself. i agree there are a lot and for some reason you always look gross but thats probably because when you leave your hair looks great but your face is not okay haha
It's probably the bright florescent lighting they use in studios like that.
