How often do you have to go to the hair salon to maintain your hair color?

My natural hair color is very light brown and I'm going to go to a hair salon to dye it dark blonde.

Two, three months but it all depends on how much a stretch the color is which doesn't seem too far, and how well you treat you hair, and if the roots are showing but generally again two three months tops.How often do you have to go to the hair salon to maintain your hair color?
i've only had highlights before, not completely dyed, but i could start seeing the roots again after about a month. that's just me, though. it depends on how fast your hair grows.
I dont get mine colored. but i would imaging if i do that whenevr the color looks faded or dull
