What kind of education does it take to become the owner of a hair salon ?

I am in a cosmetlogy class and working on getting my license,we are writing a paper about what type of career in cosmetlogy we would like to pursue and i chose a salon owner.





Any details of salary, tips on how to get started , DO's and DONT's,type of education,would all be great :)What kind of education does it take to become the owner of a hair salon ?
Business is business, regardless of whether its a hair salon or a car wash. You would have to educate yourself in your chosen field which you are dong in cosmetology school and as an entrepreneur.





Which is a term applied to the type of personality who is willing to take upon herself or himself a new venture or enterprise and accepts full responsibility for the outcome. In common understanding it is taken as describing a dynamic personality.





Bottom line it means business owner, there is a world of difference between possessing the skills required to do a particular task and running a business.

If you want to own your own salon, go study Business Management at a real school after you finish beauty school.
